    Talon tip for small stock

Yesterday our local Woodturners association had a meeting where lots of tools were made. One tip I thought was great and I wanted to share:

If you have a Talon chuck, need to chuck small stock and don't have small jaws: Just take of the jaws. The 'riders' the jaws sit on can be used as jaws themselves! We used it to mount tool steel in order to work on the end and polish it.

Those who use the Oneway Jumbo Jaws can also screw the rubber buttons from that assembly directly into the holes in the sub jaws where the normal jaw sets are attached. I have used this frequently for holding small stock and found it works great.
