    Rockwell 43-120 shaper pulley.

Need a replacement motor pulley for a recently acquired shaper.. There is no Model number plate, but internet search it appears a 43-120. The pulley part is 43-805 and unavailable from regular part suppliers. Dimensions are 5/8 shaft, 6" diameter. 1.5" wide. approx. Any ideas?

Have you tried an industrial parts house? Like Grainger or master specialties or eico
EVen sears hardware stores carries pulleys.
And Tractor supply Co, would be a good bet.

    1.5" Wide? Not 1/2" for regular V-belt?

    Grainger standard V-belt pulleys:

The wide pulley is the problem The belt runs in a V pulley on the spindle side, but as you raise or lower the spindle, the belt runs up or down the motor pulley, which doesn't move. This is a pic of an original pulley. Mine was made in South Africa, which believe it or not had a Rockwell Delta factory. There is one for sale on Ebay for $160-00

If you run out of places to look, wheelbarrows and small yard equipment use 5/8" shaft wheels. Find the right size, toss the tire, and use the rim. Beats paying 160 bucks.

Looks like someone tried to pull off the pulley without using the correct tools? It doesn’t look that uncommon. It looks like a idler pulley commonly used on mower decks on multiple blade units like Zero Turn mowers. If you strike out at the mentioned sites check out PROFESSIONAL lawn mower dealers. Look up Gravely, Exmark, John Deer and Dixie Chopper. I’d walk into one of their parts departments, plop the damaged pulley on the counter and tell them I need one like that. Of course they are going to ask you what it goes on so they can peck it into their computer, but these kind of shops usually have knowledgeable enough stockroom clerks that they will recognize the part to one on their shelf. I googled Gravely zero turn idler pulley and got pages of similar looking pulleys. Good luck
