    I have a set of those clamps. They are only as effective as the quality of the lumber used to make the crossbars;otherwise they work fine.

      It's an interesting method. For the price they seem limited for the widths they can do.

        Yeah, as CM mentioned, I guess width would be an issue. Have you used these for anything other than 4/4 glue ups? I was wondering about the strength for thicker pieces, as I see a lot of plastic.
