Has anyone had any hands on experience with any of the Anant Kamal (Premier) Hand Planes? Not their regular line - I am familiar enough with them.
Just wondering how much of an improvement they are. I need a low angle block plane and a jointer plane and do not have a LN or LV budget. My likely options are to buy old Stanley Bailey models and clean them up or the Anant Kamals.
I like the thickness of the blades on the Kamals - if I replaced them later, I could use the full thickness Hock or LN blades.
