Which one would you keep and why? Remember: these two are your only choices!

I believe that is the Makita model that I have. It has performed well and done everything I needed it to do. It also seems to fit my hand pretty well. However, I find that this is one of those occasional use tools that gets used a lot for a task, then not at all for months.

I haven't used the Bosch, but would imagine that it would perform as well.

My only suggestion would be to read all of the reviews you can, digest any feedback you get here, then try each of them to see how they feel.

I've never tried the bosch but do have the makita. I like the way it fits my hand. Every single construction guy I've seen use a grinder has had a makita.

I have the next model up from the bosch with a paddle switch. it is an outstanding tool with a ton of power.

I have used the makita 5" and it is also very good.
