Is this a good blade for a SCMS, or would I do better with something else? I have one but I'm debating about exchanging it.

Generally considered good for the CMS, but as it's a positive hook angle, not considered good for the SCMS.She couldn't tell the difference between the escape pod, and the bathroom. We had to go back for her.........................Twice. -
The Freud LU91R would be a better choice.
I posted a link to Rockler's web site, for selecting blades last week, but here it is again in case you are interested: http://www.rockler.com/articles/disp...fm?story_id=85No good deed goes unpunishedComment

I run an LU91M on my SCMS and it cuts great. the "M" is a plain blade with no red coating. they are about $48 from amazon.Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work. - Thomas EdisonComment

try LU91M010 for the complete part # for a 10" blade
you can try replacing the R in any of the blade part numbers with an M to see if they sell the blade uncoated.
