Help on selling a new 22124

    I bought the Unisaw/ 30" Unifence @ Amazon.
I have a new , in the crate CM 22124 Hybrid, never used. I want to sell that w. the 30" Unifence, tableboard & Legs from the Unisaw.
I have the 52" Beismeyer which due to damage, was purchased from the 22124(30") exchange from Biesmeyer, to go on the Unisaw, so I can not return it to Sears now.
The Unifence is usu. about $100 less than the Beis. 30".

This is is a 52" not 30" as the saw comes with.

What do you think a fair price would be?
    Where would you list it?
On sale they are usu. $800 + tx. I was thinking $600-$500 mininum.
I live in the Los Angeles. CA area and can deliver the saw w. my truck if needed.

I had a 22124 for less than a year when I saw a deal on a Uni that I couldn't walk away from. I had many extras on my saw so it's hard to compare. But, I have seen 22124's used selling for around $400-$500. Yours is new which adds value but probably not as much as a non-Biese fence reduces the value. I think the $500-$600 range sounds reasonable.

I posted at Woodnet and a member there said that I was "ripping someone off selling it w. the Unifence" issue. I asked for an explanation but never got one.
Some like the Unifence better, I have never used one, only a Bies.

That's a nonsense statement that shouldn't have any weight. Your price sounds great to me.

          saws....

I would put the saw up for sale this way: (description)

          (1) saw with out fence and rails/ table at this price.......
          (2) saw with fence and rails at this price.........
          (3) saw complete with fence, rails. tables, etc. ...this price.......

Give them options....and let them decide....they may take the deal
and be happy with that. May or not need extras, may just want a
new saw and use the fence they have now. If I were buying a new
saw, I would certainly ask seller if it could be bought without fence
and rails may be a lot cheaper. eezlock
