    Makita 14.4v drill runout

I purchased the Makita 6935FDWDEX cordless driver/drill kit HD had on sale, and used it the first time this week. The driver is great, but the drill(6337D) has a slight wobble. It was noticeable with the bare eye, but I also did a comparison test with 2 other drills using a 1/4" centering pin(instead of drill bit). The other drills, an old corded Dewalt and cheap cordless Craftman passed the test to almost a 100% true, the Makita has about a 1/32” runout.
I went and swapped it out at HD, and the new one has the same problem.
I called Makita and explained the situation to a tech. He said perhaps that batch may have gotten some bad chucks, and that I should send it to a service center and have them look at it.
Are any of you guys having the same problem with this drill? I know a few guys bought this kit from the Bargain Alerts post.

I have two 6337s. No runout problems with either. The bad chuck theory sounds likely.

I bought the kit from amazon a while back and did notice the chuck on the drill wobbles a bit. Let us know if you are able to get a replacement from Makita. If the process is easy enough maybe it's worth replacing the chuck.

My 12v version has 0 wobble, so the chuck is a possibility.
