Ridgid osc belt sander.

Just got the osc belt sander I purchased two weeks ago on e-bay tonite. Got it set up and <s>played with it</s> gave it a quick trial run. Now I have to leave for a week vacation to Iowa and then Arkansas. Guess the real test will have to wait till I get back.

Check out Tom Miller's chisel sharpening jig for the Rigid OS. I copied it and it works great. Also, don't let the belt rub on the bottom. I let one fray, and the threads locked up the drive shaft. It was tedious getting the threads out.

I know this an old thread. I just purchased the Ridgid OS and this sounds interesting. However, I couldn't find a link anywhere for this. Is that jig on BT3C or on the net somewhere?
