    RA200 Owners Manual

Long ago I posted that I had scaned the manual and would e-mail it to anyone needing one.
I recently have had several requests and thought I would bring it back up to answer some questions.

YES the scans are still available, all you have to do is ask. I will be happy to send them to you.

It's a rather large file so if you have dial up be prepared to be patient.

    Whaler,

I'd definitely appreciate the pdf of the RA200 Manual. My fiance just picked an RA200 up at the auction for me and I'd like to set it up and check it out properly. You can e-mail the file to gerrynash@verizon.net

Appreciate your offer, have a great holiday.

Dick instead of emailing the file try attaching it to this thread. Normally I will not approve new posts to an old thread. It is best to start a new thread if the OP is over a year old.

The RA200 is among radial arm saws that have been recalled due to a "blade detachment hazard."

            http://www.cpsc.gov/cpscpub/prerel/prhtml06/06212.html

Possibly there is a simple fix to reinforce the point where the break occurs. But I just thought I'd mention it in case there are people that are using these saws that are unaware of the hazard.

I've seen the recall and don't care to part with mine for $75. A decent negative hook blade greatly reduces the lockup that probably over-stresses the housing leading to a crack and problem. It's a pretty light duty RAS IMHO but properly set up it works fine.
