Apparently new posts are determined by a time limit, listing those entries entered in the last 3 or 4 hours. At times (Sunday morning) the list can grow quite small. I entered a question during one of those times, which I am sure has little chance of being answered because few people will have seen it. Why not list the last n posts, where n is the number of entries which fit comfortably on a page?

I think CG is right. When I come back after a while I open the new posts page in another window and then read from there so I can always get to scan the new posts without losing the list.Jon
