Our hand me down portable basketball backboard bit the dust tonight. When we got it from my BIL not too long ago, we noticed it had some BB type holes in it. I was going to fill them in with expoxy, but never got around to it and now it's fully cracked...
Has anyone replaced one of these acrylic type backboards with a DIY solution? I can order one, but shipping is a killer. It looks like I can get the old one off fine. I really do not want to use plywood.
Can I buy acrylic sheets that are thick enough? Would one of the big boxes carry it? How well does it cut?
