  • Saturday morning

I had some time on Saturday morning to do a little work on the tablesaw.

I upgraded the vence to the Incra TS/LS with 52" range
    Added an extended table
Built overarm dust collection from ABS pipe
Added a single dust collection port to the whole thing so I don't need to crawl on the floor to connect and disconnect it anymore.

That fence looks great, and I'm sure you'll love that single DC connection with overarm as much as I've loved mine!

Does your overarm have any supports? What blade cover/guard are you using?

It isn’t supported above at all. It is 2” ABS and attached under the table with three conduit clamps. It’s a bit springy an would likely break if stressed, but for $35 in materials vs $300 for a commercial one, it will do. I thought about building a frame for it but decided to try it as is. It really only supports its own weight. It’s attached to a shark guard.

I cut all the plywood for 11 base cabinets Saturday afternoon and had almost no dust on top of the table when finished. The flexible dust hose slips on and off the ABS fairly easily so when I ran 1/4 inch dados in all the parts for the cabinet backs it was easy to remove the blade guard and hose.

Looking great! I haven't been able to get into my shop much lately, and I REALLY need to get in there, clean up, and finish about, literally 5 projects that are in various stages... But priorities aren't there for me right now.
