Jig Fixture Aluminum Extrusions for BT3X00 - Revival

    Hello all!
Just a note, that I still have these aluminum extrusions.
See this post - Aluminum Extrusions for BT3X00 Saws - The SawdustZone
I keep tripping over them so I'd LOVE to send them to someone who can use them.
I would HATE to throw them away and then hear that someone wants one...

Does any "active" BT3X00 member that still have a saw want all of the extrusions?
Just pay me postage to send them to you...

Awesome! Glad that these will go to a good home.
Being aluminum, they don't weigh that much. I checked and it is like 6 pounds + shipping materials/box
If you don't mind me cutting them down from their current lengths, the cheapest shipping cost would be if I cut them down to <12" and shipped them.
If you are good with that, I will check on the shipping pricing for you when I get to work on Monday!

Cutting then down would be OK, 24" too long, I would say 4 or 6 inches would be the ideal length. We can discuss further if the shipping cost is reasonable.

I agree with Loring, 4 to 6 inches would be ideal.

        Hello Loring,
Sorry I took me a couple extra days.
Shipment via UPS at 7lbs is $24.35

USPS has those three flat rate box sizes that could handle several 4 to 5 inches in the smallest.
          Type Size* Retail Rate
          Small Box 8 11⁄16" x 5 7⁄16" x 1 ¾" $10.65
          Medium Box 11 ¼" x 8 ¾" x 6" or 14" x 12" x 3 ½" $19.15

2 or 3 - 12" ones would fit in a flat rate envelope (I think), if they were taped together and bubble wrapped.

        Ok... Thanks for the thoughts.
I have cut them down shy of 9" to fit in an Amazon box that I had laying around.
That's the cost via the UPS website to ship it in that box.

Whelp... it doesn't appear LCHIEN is interested in them for the $24.35 it would take me to ship them UPS to him, so if anyone else is interested, please let me know.
I will charge you what the UPS website notes (which may be a bit more or less than the $24.35 to Katy,TX dependent upon your location).
I prefer to ship UPS as that is what is easiest for me.

I'll take some, at least two sections, more if you just want to clean up the surplus.

IF we (woodTurner and I) each take half, what is the shipping?

              That sounds good to me.
