For all my friends in Oz--HOLD BACK THE SUN is selling well down under! I just got one of the best reviews ever from one of your mates, and I just had to share it with you.
***** Great WW2 Pacific War fiction September 20, 2013
By Peter Campbell
Being an Australian whose father fought in the Pacific War, this book was very interesting. I didn't realise the depth of Dutch involvement in what is now Indonesia, and how desperate they were to hang on to their territory. On the other hand the book explains how the Japanese effortlessly swept aside their opposition - and how inferior a fighting force the allies were in the early stages of the War. Well worth the cover price. (From Amazon.com).
