    Any Plumbers out there

My downstairs toilet has recently started making a high pitch almost squeaking like sound every time you flush it. Any idea what this is? Is it easy enough to fix?

This is generally in the fill valve that is attached to the float. It isn't opening cleanly and the water cavitation is what you are hearing as a squeal. Replace the fill valve and you'll be good. Should just be able to turn off the toilet's water supply and swap it in 5 minutes. If the toilet has seen a few years, I would replace the rubber gasket at the bottom as well, while you are in there.
