I spoke with a couple of guys here who have acreages. Kubota mower was what they both recommended for hills.

    This one.
Kubota Corporation's global site offers an overview of our group and our products and solutions. Under the slogan of 'For Earth, For Life,' Kubota works on challenges in the fields of food, water, and the environment on a global scale.

Kind of pricey but very good quality.

And don't forget the Dixiemower to get it done quickly.

I would go with a tractor type. 4wd is nice also. You will use the tractor more than you think. JD or Kubota both are hard to beat. You can put a drag mower behind a tractor and cut a double width if you really need to.They let you offset to the side of the tractor.
