    Looking for Mantle Clock Plans

I am looking for plans for a basic mantle clock that has a door. I have found 2 or 3 plans but not door. I have seen some pics that were posted on a woodworking club site showing what some of the club members have made. Being on dial-up, it's been a slow process looking for them.
    Thanks for any help.

Ken, Do a search for clocks on this site in the Finished Projects section. You may find what you are looking for. Then email the person who built it to find out about the plans.

Ken, I built this clock from plans I received in my woodworking
class. None of these are my clock but they are all based on the
same set of plans so it looks the same. This is the arch dial
design. This style only looks right if you buy the brass
dial which was hard to come by. You can only get the dial for the
dimensions for this clock at http://www.armorplans.com/.

Some people built the square faced clocks in this picture and
used a wood dial or applied a paper dial.

If you go with one of these ideas, I'd suggest you get the dial
face (brass, paper, etc) and then design your clock dimensions
        around that.

        Good luck,
        Paul

I built this one out of Black Walnut ( this pic was taken before I finished the Top..

Just curious what you mean by "door"?

Couldn't find a specific that I like so I will modify the plans. First, I am going to order some catalogs for clock kits before I start on anything. This is one w/door that I will attempt to make. Just need to order some more router bits and play around with some scrap first.

                Thanks for your input.
