Looking for a router bit guard

I'm just about at the point where I need to decide what kind of bit guard I'm going to put on my new home made router fence and was looking around for a bit guard but can only find one at Rockler's. It's the orange one that everybody has seen that runs $12.96 or so. I really don't care for the orange as I would like to be able to see what's going on better and I think that dark orange would hinder that. I think just buying one would be better then trying to make one since they can't cost that much but where are some? Can anybody direct me to some?

Get some plexi, and heat it up with a torch. Then you can bend it. For the slots, I would use a drill press and a jigsaw.

Thanks for the reply Alex. Well, I have heard of guys doing that but I don't have a torch and don't really want to buy one for just this one project. Haven't needed one in 58 years and probably wouldn't ever again so you see my point but thanks for trying. Surely somebody makes a clear one somewhere. I just got to find out where.

How about those clear acrylic disposable cups sold at most supermarkets? Think you can work with those?
