Need a copy of BT3100 Receipt

I got in on the BT3100 deal at Home Depot, but now I can't find my receipt for the rebate. I had to return my BT3100 (bent arbor) and somewhere along the way of the exchange process I lost my receipt. Can anyone help?

    Thanks
    Matt

You should be able to get a duplicate from HD if you used your HD credit card or any other major credit card or even if you wrote a check.

Purchase was made with a HD gift card. Can I still get a copy of the receipt that way?

Don't know but I'll bet a phone call will get you an answer for sure.

I had to go get a receipt copy from them a while back (found the original when I got back home as a book mark, shakes head), My check number was no help. What they asked for was, the date, the time frame, and if I knew which cash register it was at.
She couldn't tell the difference between the escape pod, and the bathroom. We had to go back for her.........................Twice.

Getting a copy of the receipt,

Any Home Depot should be able to give you a new copy within the month that the sale was made. The key is knowing the date and of course the price. I believe the policy is that they should be able to do this at any time within 30 days of the sale. Having some additional details might be helpful, but just knowing the date and what product(s) were purchased should be enough.

As a matter of fact, you can contact the Atlanta HQ office and they can give you a copy of a receipt at any tme, even several months after the purchase. The key here is that you MUST know the exact date and the store ID number. All transactions are archived at the Atlanta office, by date and store number.

Home Depot is keenly aware of the problem it has with receipts fading within a matter or a couple of months. Their short-term remedy is to ensure that copies can be procurred on request. (This info and advise came to me first hand when I contact Atlanta about the fading receipt problem last year.)

            I hope this helps,
