Got the baseboard and trim finished yesterday and took a long nap.
i couldn’t find any trim molding that I liked at the box store so I got two pieces of pine 1”x2” and cut them down and routed a profile. I’m quite happy with how it turned out

Home shop milled moldings are the way to go IMHO! Fantastic job.

Congratulations! I can't wait to start my project. Unfortunately, I wasn't happy with the toolbox I received today. The quality of the instruments was very poor, and I had no idea something like that is possible these days. Luckily, I reached out to screwfix customer service, and they promised me that I will have a decent replacement tomorrow afternoon.

Congrats! It looks fantastic. I wish I could pull off something like that as well. I've tried a couple of times to tackle similar projects, but I always ended up ordering things from leons thunder bay instead. Their selection is impressive, and the convenience of having quality products readily available made it a practical choice.
