    Cutting Boards

Well I finished two of the 4 boards I need for Christmas. Pictured is the one I am giving away in a "Gift Exchange" with the Hostage Negotiator Team I am part of.

It felt good to get back in the shop after a while. Board is end grain bamboo finished with mineral oil

Very nice indeed. The recipients of these boards should
    be delighted.

The dark color is something called "Caramelized ". My understanding is that the bamboo is heated bring out the sugars making it darker.

          Awesome Jeff!!
Where did you get the bamboo boards? I have heard of a few places that sell it as a ply sheet material...
I think in straight lines, but dream in curves

I got the boards from Dakota Hardwoods. 8 foot by 12 inches. $65 a board.

The two I am making for my kids are about twice as big and just striped, not alternating.
