    I made my daughter's day :)

My little girl saw a picture of a pig like this online one day and wanted one. I said, "Let's make it!" ...and so we did. Well, I did most of it, but she did some sanding, gluing, and all of the pink painting.

I scanned the template I drew up and posted it on my site in case anyone else has a kid that's into pigs. It's here: http://www.thefrankes.com/wp/?p=2336

Any project that puts a smile on a little girl's face is a good one!

That's a great idea. Having the kids involved will be remembered by them when they're grown. How about a "piggy bank"? BTW...what did you use for the tail?

            Thanks, guys!

A piggy bank is a great idea! I used a bit of pink pipe cleaner for the tail -- I curled it around a nail, and then glued it into a tiny hole.

That is a very cool and probably very and quick project to work on with your kids. It looks to be very adaptable to almost any type of animal on 4 legs.

              Great job!

Cool project Alex. Some of the coolest projects from my shop are ones done with my children.

                    Alex,
That's really neat. Now I wish my daughters (24 & 27) were small again so I could make each one.
I guess I'll just have to wait for grandchildren, and considering neither of them are married, well, it'll be a while
