      That is definitely a cool jig. But, all my routers aren't the same size. Not to throw a wrench into the works, but, the second wrench is a lot smaller and easier to store than the jig.

        It looked like a jig to help stabilize a trim router to me.

        My combo Rigid router uses a shaft lock button, so I only need one wrench. But, your jig would make it a lot easer to handle.

          My Dewalt also has a lock button but its a PITA so I may make one for that also.

            from the title, i was thinking a beer can/bottle opener of some strange design :-D

            kinda neat, i dunno,i think another wrench is easier than having to remove the router-base then store the jig conveniently.but yea my shops a disaster too.
