    munchkin step stool

Here's a simple step stool I made for my munchkins. Joinery: tbII, screw and plug. Materials: red oak, 3/8 hardwood dowels and oak veneer to cover end grain. Finish: 8 coats of tung oil (thinned @ 50%) and wax. Total cost : $11 for the cost of a toggle clamp for a biscuit joinery jig I made in the process. Everything else I had on hand including a couple hundred bf of red oak I was recently given.

Sharp-looking, and I bet that big base makes it stable.

Now they can reach new no-nos....

        Design has possibilities

        That is an excelent design!

If it's YOUR design, you might want to get a set of drawings made and see if it can be offered commercially, or at least published in one of the WW Mags.

Nice looking work and the design is great. I may have to copy that.

Nice work. The veneer on the end grain is a nice touch.

Looks good and it should get plenty of use.

Like the others, I think that is a great design and build was very well done.
