    Aftermarket BT3000 shims

    I ordered shims from Tim Hall: https://www.hallcastle.com/product/r...ainless-steel/

    They were well packaged and very nice. Installed yesterday after cleaning up gouges left in the aluminum ways with 320 grit paper on an oak block. Removed all grease and waxed shims and ways with Johnsons paste wax. Adjusted set screws and all is good.

    This forum is great, i will be on here often.
