The original BT3000 were designed and made in the USA - Ryobi was located, I think, in North Carolina. This one a rare 240 Volt model made in 14th week, 1993 - first year of production. Rod Kirby's, I suspect since this was posted on Sawdustzone.org (BT3Central.com back then).
Designed and manufactured in the USA it had all SAE fasteners - fractional inch. Even though the Nameplate said 254 mm saw (10 inches).

Later production was made in Taiwan. this one 20th week 2000.
