    Arbor Nut

Had occassion to purchase a craftsman version of the Bt3000 to use for spare parts. When I was breaking it down into peices I came across this idiots idea of an arbor nut.

yes that is about 2 inches of masking tape. I was dumbfounded. I guess he/ she is still alive.

My, my, my! I thought I had seen it all!

In all probability, they lost the nut and just put the tape on it hoping to sell the saw without the buyer knowing the nut was missing.

Save that! It's real hard to find left-hand threaded masking tape.

The ignorance of some in our species never ceases to amaze me!

Good thing your check-out was a visual inspection rather than attempting to rip a long board.

Totally the wrong patch material, using tape when a piece of electric fence wire would be better!

Would have been perfectly fine if it was duct tape -- especially if it was reinforced with a rubber band.
