    WTB blade guard assembly

    Hey all,

Thanks for all the posts - because if this site I was more confident buying an affordable BT3000.

Only part that is missing on my BT3000 is the full blade guard assembly. If anyone has one for sale, I'd love to buy it from you.

I do have one... somewhere. I'll try to dig it up in the next few days, unless someone else chimes in first.

I will say that what you really want is a Shark Guard... it's the reason my stock blade guard is virtually unused even though my saw is about 14 years old. The Shark Guard is much more flexible, much easier to use, and safer since you'll actually keep it on when you can.

But I'll take a look for my blade guard tonight (I was gone most of last night)

Yeah, I feel stupid that I didn't buy a Shark until last year. I wasted a lot of time, energy, and thought while using stock guards on my Ryobi and then Unisaw. And then I did the further stupid move of putting the "upgraded" Delta guard on it, which also was crap.

              Hmmm, shark guard looks awesome!
If you can't find your stick guard I may have to save up for that one.

I did find the blade guard last night and it's in great shape. Like I mentioned above it really didn't get much use.

Looks like past sales on eBay have been $70-90-ish. What would you think about $50 shipped?
