Here's a BT3100 listed in Savage a two weeks ago. Might be worth a call if it's still available.
If a BT3000 motor will work, $40 and a trip to St. Michael might keep your project on schedule

$100 would be around 1-1/2 hours for skilled labor shops like motors and mechanics so it would hardly seem like they could disassemble and do the calculations and wind the replacement windings and replace bearings for $100.

Glad you found a replacement motor. Opps, didn't know you had to leave if your got rid of your bt3! I sold mine to a work friend and replaced it with a powermatic about a year ago. Just hung In here, kinda like the crowd.
