    (Another) Homemade BT3 outfeed table

I'm not going to copy/paste the writeup I already did:

Just finished and it's midnight. Having kids and trying to work in the garage is tough business - hard to find the time!

Pretty cool. Proper outfeed support is sure a pleasure to have.

How stable is it with the hinged legs and saw attachment?

Saw attachment is extremely stable. #10 machine screws with a nut directly on the rail provides a lot of strength.

The legs are pretty stable. I'm working on engineering a fold in 45 degree support with a catch underneath to firmly lock them in place. Better pics of that to come once I figure it out.

I was thinking a cross support would be beneficial too.

I'm a bit confused about a reply you made on the Lumberjock posting, about the BT3000 having a bottom DC port.

I have a 3100, and the only port I see/am aware of is the part of the casting holding the motor, with the port sticking out the back. Is there a less obvious alternative port, as well?

I heard someone say there was a bottom DC port but I've never looked myself. I guess I should have stuck my head under before I said that.

What do you mean cross support? I don't want to put something between the legs because it prevents them from folding.
