    Sliding Miter Table

Can members explain how to use the smt as far as where to place the pin(a,b,c,d hole)? I think its if the table is mounted on the left side of the blade then I use holes A and D. If mounted on the right side of the blade I use holes B and C? What are holes C and D used for as far as measurement? Any other explaination of the smt would be great. Thanks

The pivot pin goes in the hole closest to the blade. The lockdown bolt goes in the center slot. You read the miter angle by lining up the "orange thingy" (high-tech term) with the scale farthest from the blade.

Make sure when you assemble the miter lockdown bolt that it is in the order (bottom to top) bolt, bracket, washer, then knob; keeping the flats of the bolthead seated in the slot. Also the pivot goes on with the spring tab facing the user.
