    BT3 motor repair

One of the most common reasons I've seen for knocking the BT3 seems to be the motor. Like me, many come to this forum looking for a replacement. The cheapest I've seen mentioned is around $150 on E-Bay.

Several posts mention repair, but with no further info. A search of this web site has yielded no useful results for motor.

Has anyone out there had a BT3 motor successfully rewound at a reasonable price? Is the armature available separately?

Thanks to anyone who can shed light on this subject.

I had a motor rewound for a spare, I payed $70.00 for it. I believe that was a reasonable price. I don't know about the armature, but I have one, it checked good. Bill
