      They call it a planer, but it's a jointer. Richard might want a larger one.

        Thanks, Tommy for the heads up. Unfortunately, I ain't big enough to turn the wheel on that thing. I'll let my cousin know - he lives in Mt. Juliet, not far from MTSU. Note to Cochese and C'man - it appears to be too hard and cold to sleep on. BTW, Tommy, that big honkin' Jointer about which you alerted us several months back, 20" Faye and Egan in Chattanooga on CL, I told a friend of mine and he bought the thing. He said the fence alone weighs nearly 200 lbs.

                  Did anyone else notice the motor on that planer? They say its wired for 220, but that motor looks like a 3 phase unit. I wonder if there is an inverter hidden below..
