Went and picked one up today...definitely a G0536, box had absolutely never been opened. The guy bought 4 of them in 2006 to teach a workshop, then got injured trying to help UPS driver unload an upright compressor and never taught the class. I paid $50, brought it home and still haven't opened the box.

Quite an impressive shop. Converted/rebuilt an old barn, storage on the bottom, main shop in the middle, spray booth/finished crafts in the loft. Built a small freight elevator using a HF cable hoist to move material/supplies/projects from floor to floor. Had a 36 or 37" Grizzly sander, 8" Shop Fox jointer, 12" Powermatic that had to have 8' width and at least 6' of outfeed. Freshly glued-up end grain butcher block table top from reclaimed hardwood--the old growth poplar was all either dark olive or blond with near-walnut colored stripes. Desk and chairs in the shop were nicer (way nicer) than any furniture in my house. His cane was walnut/oak laminate, used weights to twist it while the glue was wet--i've never seen anything like it.

No question that $50 is a great price on a little scroll saw, but i'd have paid that for the hour i got to spend with a humble craftsman...the saw was a bonus for the trip.
