    Irwin 2" Quick-Grips 4/$10 at HD

It seems to grip pretty well to me, but I don't know a convenient way to compare it to others, but I am sure I will find uses for them.

I found a low price of $5.50 per clamp via Google. The Amazon price is $6.95 each (?).

There was no special display or sign and my HD in Marlboro, Ma had scads of them. The HD item # was 038548592046.

At Lowes, they have the Bessey versions, maybe 3" capacity in a 4 pack for $10.

They MUCH nicer than the quick grips. I bought some of the quick grips when they first came out and they stick at times and I've been disappointed with them. In fact, every quick grip product I've ever bought has not aged well and does not work as smooth as some of the other clamps I've used.

Check out the Red Bessey versions - they are very nice, especially for $2.5 each.

Are the bessey one's spring clamps or do they have a similar locking grip like the quick grips?

        bessey clamp set

If you enter 'bessey clamp set' in Lowes search box they will come up. They are the ratcheting kind and they are also 4 for $10. They don't mention size of the opening, they come in 2" and 4", according to the only other website I found them on, justclamps.com., don't see 3" there at least. I'm guessing they're 2". I don't see anything like it at the Bessey website either. It isn't on sale, looks like normal price??

You don't need a parachute to skydive, you only need a parachute to skydive twice.

Looks like a trip to Lowe's/HD! I have a pair of the Qiuck Grips and use them a lot.
