Any idea who makes this for Craftsman? I was looking at the Craftsman Professional Router (Red one with three bases). But with the Dewalt rebate there may not be much of a price difference.

It is a bit of a mystery. It is thought that it is a smaller company in mainland China but that is all I have heard.

What's the story with the DeWalt rebate? Got details and/or a link? Specific model in mind for this comparison?

I have the brother of that one. I opted for the variable speed and additional fixed base. It was $89 IIRC. Works nicely so far but I've only had it in a table.
