Last year I got great deal on Panasonic 42" ($950 and no interest for 18 months using my sears card!) plasma by price matching Bestbuy to Sears. I had to try 2 sears but one of them did beat the price by 10%!

I think that is the easiest way to score a good deal if you don't want to wait in the line
all night for limited quantity sales of any item.

      And, just google "Black Friday"!

fatwallet.com is usually pretty good about getting pre-release Black Friday deals listed.

Never thought about the price match at a different, not so busy store.

I went to Sears around noon and got this. As long as the item is not on clearance (sometimes the stores are picky when you try to PM), they can't refuse it. I don't remember why the 1st sears I tried did not PM.

There was a piece in our local newspaper that said Wal-Mart had threatened a suit against any site that dared to post their black friday ads online.

I just looked at the black-friday.net site and it seems the Sears listing is awfully long. How can they possibly run all that stuff in a print ad w/o needing 50 pages?

i saw that this great little craftsman wet/dry vac is going to be 1/2 price down to $15, like last year (before noon, and before selling out of course).

                  can't wait to get a 2nd

I think we should start a new thread for Black Friday tools deals. It will be lot easier for everyone to get on them...

If you look at the Walmart link on the Black Friday website, you will see that Walmart has "requested" that their ad be removed from the website. I'm guessing the request came in the form of a legal letter with some kind of threat attached to it.

Absolutely correct! One of the websites I went to had posted their ad and then took it down, but they did post the 'lawyer letter' from Walmart, so it was definitely more than a request, it was a threat! I saw the ads before they pulled them, and although I don't remember specifics, I wasn't that impressed.

I have used those sites before, and last year they had more posted earlier. Heck wallyworld had even submitted their ad to a few.

However, there are STILL places that aren't listed....

                              HeavyDutyTools? How about a list.
