What happened to Amazon????

Did Amazon flush their database? There used to be all manner of Delta stuff in there including stuff they don't carry anymore. It was becoming a historical reference tool. Lots of current items were dropped as well.

Does anyone know what happened for sure?

There are a ton of sites out there such as Frozenwarrier.com that have historical based upon the availiable database. If you have the ASIN number of the item you can put it into one of those sites and get the historical. If you put the number in there and there is no data return, then yes Amazon has removed the item and the data history on the item.
