Incra MITERV27 Miter Gauge with 27 Angle Stops for $39.99 Shipped

    Incra MITERV27 Miter Gauge

I think this is the lowest price I've seen on this item. Amazon currently has this for $49.99 but you can apply the 20% off promo.

Make sure that you buy from Amazon to get the free super saver shipping and 20% off.

That is gonna be tough to beat IMHO. I've been plenty happy with mine. Great chance for the folks who missed the $50 Jet/Woodhaven deal....

Thank you! Been trying to find one cheaply to modify. That should do it.

Just a note that if you do go to order it you need to select to buy it from Amazon (its on the right side of the page) to apply the 20% off code.

Always watch that, when I clicked on the link, it WAS Amazon, now it's not.

Thanks for the reminder (got me to go double check)

Can this model be locked down at ANY angle, or only at one of the 27 pre-determined stops?

It can be locked at any angle, but it has detents that align to some preset angles. SImilar to how a miter saw often has stops at 22.5deg, 45deg, etc.

Yeah...as the others pointed out, the detents are at 5 degree intervals, but there are demarkations for 1 degree....the problem is that the pointer is no longer accurate to 1 degree because of it's proximity to the markings. Some of the more expensive models have a pivoting cursor to assist in reading 1 degree increments. I made my own with a piece of transparency for my V27....it was kind of crude but also pretty effective.

                      That's a heck of a deal.

If I hadn't just picked up a new Jessem Mite-r-Excel off of CL for $100, I'd jump all over that (stealth gloat there:-)

                        Amazon Problem

Just tried to purchase this miter gauge and there was no Super Saver shipping and wouldn't accept the PTA20OFF code. Am I doing something wrong or maybe the deal has changed.

Yeah, that's a pretty good deal. I've just been using a protractor, and this would make some setups a lot quicker!

Ugh... I'm going bankrupt on this forum!
