Ya, I was playing around in the chat room for the first time ever. Amazon must have been able to tell that my full attention was not being given to them. Shes a posessive little site.

To make myself feel better, I will point out (to myself) that even had I been timely, it really would not work for me as I don't have Prime. I put a single bit in my cart and the shipping was as much as the bit (or more). Popping up to $25 for free shipping just makes it back to 20% off, so nothing special there either. Guess Cheeky got his Prime $$'s worth today.

Of course I could have lucked out with a "real order" like someone else in my own SD206 thread who ordered a it just after me and got additional $5 off!

about 9 months ago, the 12" Makita sliding MS was forty-eight bucks and change (usually ~$600) for about 20 minutes. I ordered 2, and selected overnight since it only cost me $3.99. The saws were delivered on Tuesday morning. I called about 12 friends and relatives up, and all were shotdown by amazon, but 1 guy who also ordered overnight.

that is why i've kept prime
