This is probably a dumb question, but how well does this set fit the short arbor on the bt3?

    Is anyone currently using one?

Many people use this on the BT3. It's the defacto dado stack of choice.

Any 6" dado set up to 13/16" will fit the BT3 if you take all the arbor spacers off.

8" dado sets need more clearance on the motor side, you have to leave the 1/4" arbor spacer on or else the leftmost blade of the stack will be riding on the threads with some complications. Or, limit the stack to about 5/8" for an 8" stack dado.

Estimate ship date was april, but mine shipped today.

Thanks for the heads up on this deal. Its the first time I have used bargain alerts so I decided to give back a little of what I saved

          Mine too.

How's that for a substantive addition to the thread?

(Actually, I post only to add credence to the member who pointed out that the delayed shipping estimates can be wildly inaccurate.)

Got mine today. Haven't tested it out, but it seems well made.

Amazon has been really bad with packing my last 3 shipments. This one was just thrown in a big box with a few of those inflatable packs, box broken and the center plastic screw cap cracked. My last 10" blade was shoved into a 9" box and arrived with the edge of the saw just poking through.

I know it's free shipping, but I'd expect better.

I posted that and I did need some more credence. Hope you don't want it back any time soon. (usually its lended or loaned)

Ordered 2/16, Amazon reports that it was shipped 2/20.

Recieved mine yesterday, packaging was terrific

Giant box three pillows and two cracked screws. At least the blade was fine

I ordered mine Feb 13 and got it the 20th. It was saying the delivery date was the end of March but it worked out and that was a good price. It was in a box with one of those plastic bubble tubes. The plastic screw caps are both cracked. I wouldnt want something fragile shipped from them.

Exactly the same here. I was very dissapointed of seeing that terrible packaging and the cracked screws.
