Keep hoping they will build one in Austin or San Antonio.

Anyone shopping in the Mesquite store, say "Hi" to Uncle Wayne for me.

Ummm. Greensboro is pretty darn central.

I have never figured out why they do not have a location in the NYC/Phila/NJ area. There is a population of around 12 million folks in a 50 mile radius of Trenton NJ.

Here, here! I used to live 3 miles from one in San Diego and now the closest
is probably Pittsburgh! Bring one to DC (or Philly).

Or why they went from Maryland to North Carolina and skipped over Virginia completely.

That is a shame... I rarely went in there, but when I needed something unique for a project, it was really nice to have them. They haven't been in town for more than a year or two, AFAIK.

We still have a Woodcraft store- I hope they don't suffer the same fate!

Sorry for being selfish but i wish the Rochester NY one would close down too,...

so i wouldnt be stuck paying shipping AND tax :P

it kinda kills most sales incentives when i add another 9%.
i did jsut buy a few things there. micro mesh set and something else.
                      but shipping was free

I could live with San Antonio. Could not afford it, but I could live with it.

I was in woodcraft couple weeks ago, they have a sign hanging that says we will not be undersold by anyone in town. Could be some very aggresive pricing on their part helped bring about rockler's demise. If thats the case than the local bargains maybe fewer now that the competition is leaving. Still have very nice Woodworkers Supply store in graham though, big and plenty of choices to chose from.

Ahh, Happines is having two Rocklers and a Woodcraft within a 15 mile radius.
Some good stuff in the Rockler sale starting on the 29th. Am planning on being at one of them that day.
