Easy come easy go, the seller didn't fulfill my order... said they were out of stock... I ordered some of everything they had on Amazon so I guess they are "out" of everything... or they didn't like the price! Perhaps they forgot to add a Zero at the end of their prices!?

Did anyone else get a successful purchase via Amazon or not?
    Never met a bargain I didn't like.

Successful purchase to me is having the product in hand. I have gone up to a week before an order gets cancelled on me. Usually it is within a couple of days. I ordered the 3M Garnet paper from one group and the Silicon Carbide paper from Amazon. We will see if either one gets filled or ???????????? Time will tell, but I would be willing to bet both will get cancelled.

I got the confirmation from Home and Beyond that they cancelled the order that I placed through Shop.com. This was at my request as I had ordered through Amazon.com.
I have not gotten any news on the Amazon.com order. It would seem that there is 0 missing, but WHY ON BOTH SITES?

One would think that by now they would catch on and fix the prices. Shop.com still showing the "sale" prices.

That wouldn't surprise me considering H&B has a pretty fair inventory and therefore is probably fully computerized selling--both sites are probably pulling from the same database. Tho... I did say I thought some of the prices were slightly different between sites, but that could also be automated based on other factors (like how much they have to pay to sell at given host site).

This must be a pricing error on the 3M garnet paper

I went to the Home and Beyond website, and they're selling the same 25-sheet boxes of sandpaper for over $12.00/box:

              http://www.homeandbeyond.com/prod-0054834.html

This seems like it's too good of a deal to be real. I ordered a few boxes and received an order confirmation, but I'm skeptical the order will be shipped.

Perhaps Sears Hardware's track record has made me cynical about web prices. I hope I'm wrong and everybody gets their sandpaper order filled.

This is what the idiots from Home and Beyond Sent

                Dear HomeandBeyond Customer,
Our records indicate that you recently purchased 35 Count, Clorox, Disinfecting Lemon Fresh Pre-Moistened Wipes on Amazon.com. Unfortunately there has been a pricing error on this product and all sales have been voided. This item is sold individually for $3.99 every day at http://www.homeandbeyond.com/prod-0013972.html and not by the case.

We sincerely apologize for this pricing oversight and look forward to serving you in the future.

                Sincerely,

Same thing here. Looks like we'll all have nice, disinfected workshops. What grit do you think those wipes are?

Although we would all have liked dirt cheap sandpaper I must admit this does provide quite a laugh

Lets hope we dont get inundated with crates of clorox

                              Skepticism confirmed!

My order was cancelled as well. I got the same Clorox email. Home & Beyond appears to have inept management.
I ordered some sandpaper through Amazon, and some from Shop.com just to see what would happen. My Amazon account was refunded, and Shop.com hadn't charged my CC yet.
I'm going to leave negative feedback on amazon for Home & Beyond. I'd encourage others to do the same -- Home & Beyond needs to clean up their act and be more careful with their pricing.
The funny thing is, both amazon and shop.com are (as of 10 minutes ago) still offering the sandpaper for < $1.00/box.

Home & Beyond is in disarray.

Did anyone bother to read the customer reviews for homeandbeyond.com (link on the page linked in the original post)? They are very bad.

When a company is rated poorly on it's own website...

They also have very bad reviews on resellerratings.com, but there are only a few reviews there.
