From looking at SMC, it looks like Craig is just a guy who had an idea for a useful product and is trying to promote it through these types of forums.
This looks like the type of product that the likes of Lee Valley will eventually get ahold of and put in there catalog as a uniquely useful item. It is just the sort of thing they seem to like.
I know I could have used about 5 or 6 of them several times during the making of my BT3 mobile base. Instead I cobbled together some difficult-to-use cauls. Based on that experience, I've been kicking around and idea or two to make some that'll only take two hands to operate.
