awesome - I was hoping for that to happen - I haven't tried Sketchup up to this point since I figured most of my "8-free-hours" would be spent learning how to use it!

This is a great tool! I have the full version and have been using it to design all sort of things... my workbench, two fences, a closet, and a dog house. Love it. It takes very little time to get proficient at this tool... just do the tutorials and read the help.

Mac version: coming soon. Maybe, if we get around to it someday. Gets old

Am I missing something? It's an eight-hour trial version, as far as I can see, which has been around for quite a while.

Huh, interesting. The publisher swore that there wouldn't be a free version when Google bought them. Guess he was wrong or just staving off people people dropping the purchase.

I Downloaded it, all 16+ Megabytes of it, and it won't work for me.

Seems that they don't support WinME running on a 400 Mb system. Bummers!

When I tried to install it, it told me that my OS was not supported.

Well, I don't know if I qualify as an expert, but I've used it quite a bit. What are your Q's?

Btw, as a Sketch-Up user you will find that you have a whole new set of forums to spend time on... check out their website. Lots of info there.
