Freud SD206 Dado $61 at Amazon

Amazon recently dropped the price of the Freud SD206 Dado blade to $60.82 and the SD208 to $66.49. I think about 80% of the items i had saved had a price change recently.

    Gettem while they're hot!

That is an excellent price on the SD206!
    Thanks for the heads up!

There seems to be lots of hits for "SD206" so, I thought I'd help out since I'd already done the search.

If you add $189.18 more to the total, and you can use the 50OFFMAR code to get $50 off $250. You'll essentially get the SD206 for 10.82.

Members problems with this dado set?

I just ordered the Freud SD206 dado set but am somewhat worried by Amazon reviews which complain of difficulty (lots of difficulty) removing the blade from the saw's arbor. I wonder if anyone has this problem with the Ryobi saws?

I have the SD208 that I purchased before I bought my BT3100, and while I have the usual clearance problems you might expect with an 8" dado, I don't have any problems installing or removing it.

Same experience as Ken - never had a problem with it fitting the arbor. I got mine for $53 a year ago from amazon - the $66 is still a great price.

Iwas going to say "Glad I got it for $61 before they jacked the price back up" but now I see its down to $59.

If you haven't used it yet, just return it. I ordered one yesterday only to find that I could have saved another $10 today with the additional price drop and the discount, so I ordered another one. It's too late to cancel my previous order, so I'll just return it as soon as it arrives.

And before anyone starts discussing the morality of this little maneuver, let me just say I'm not losing any sleep over it.

Thanks Eric and ksu93. I purchased the SD206 last Saturday from a somewhat local woodshop store and just purchased one from Amazon saving me ~$23 (w/tax). I haven't had a chance to use the one I bought last weekend so I'll try to take it back this coming weekend.
