This is the real thing! An Emmert clamshell patternmakers vise, in very good condition, and available in Worcester! If you’re not familiar with the thing, do a Google search, or see http://www.shavings.net/EMMERT.HTM for more info. Yes, I know these are available from time to time on eBay, but I don’t think you want to pay the shipping—this is a heavy vise. The only thing that's not original is the handle--it's a piece of pipe. PRICE REDUCED TO A PALTRY $350! And please notice the red bracket with extension, the pieces that are missing on most Emmerts! Let me know if you are interested!
