I set the small scraps curb side with a “Free Firewood” sign. They never last more than 24 hours. Apparently, there are a lot of patio fire pits in the neighborhood. I did glue up a bunch of scraps into a turning blank to see if I could turn a bowl.

I wish the termites would attack my cutoffs. That way I wouldn't feel bad about tossing them. I think I'm drowning in cutoffs, most of them small.

I'm trying to find a scrap of 1x4 about 13 inches long, I can't find anything that big in the cutoff bin.

Is that an actual, unbent Yankee screwdriver? Those things take me way back, although most of the ones I tried to use were once used for pry bars…

Lee reminded me of my old HF angle grinder, the blue one, it is as well balanced as a drunken ballerina. I hate it but it won't die.

I have a 5 gallon Homer bucket full of misc hardware I need to sort through. I suspect much of it needs to be sent to the recycler...

so you can get rid of it without guilt.

Do slotted screws have a use by date? Maybe 1990?
