The nearest Buc-ees to you is on I-75 up near Warner Robbins. El Arroyo is in Austin TX.

They (Buc-ees) are all over Texas on major highways. From where I live in Houston, I45 south towards Galveston, I 10 just West and I-10 near San Antonio. And Texas 71 near Bastrop. towards Austin. Famous for large stores, something like 100 gas pumps, super clean restrooms. and lots of branded, local, and fast food and accessories and travel needs. Great place to take a break on a road trip.

                  I love science jokes.

A hydrogen ion walks into a bar and says to the bartender, “I’ve lost my electron!” The bartender says, “Are you positive?”

A rabbit and a priest walk into a bar and the bartender said to the priest, "I think that guy is a typo."

Speaking of kids repeating what you say at home ...

A couple of weeks ago, a policeman came to my granddaughters kindergarten class to talk about safety. When he asked if there were any questions, my granddaughter asked "Are you Ok being a cop or are you still sad you failed the firefighter exam?"

Her dad, my son-in-law, is a Sioux Falls firefighter. He claims he hasn't said that cops are the people who couldn't pass the firefighter exam more than a couple of times. He has now learned the lesson that your kids hear and remember everything you say.

Earlier this past week, I was at a Convention Conference for our Mississippi Baptists in Jackson, MS. There were several meal time conferences, and one was the Multi-Cultural conference. I attended this along with several pastors whom I knew. The leader (a retired missionary to a South American country) of the Multi-cultural luncheon got up and introduced the leader of several different ethnic/cultural ministries.

Then, the missionary spoke of one group in which we had NO churches in MS: Deaf Ministry Church. Immediately one pastor said: "I hate to disagree with you, because I know there are deaf ministry churches in Mississippi. In fact, I pastor one!"

                            Everyone roared with laughter!
